Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: 2026
Welcome to theresistanceband.com.au. Transparency matters to us, so we want to be completely upfront about how this website operates and how we make money.
We Earn Affiliate Commissions
Theresistanceband.com.au is an affiliate website. This means that when you click on certain links on our site — including links to online casinos, pokies sites, and gaming platforms — and subsequently register an account, make a deposit, or complete another qualifying action, we may receive a commission from the operator at no additional cost to you.
These commissions are how we fund the research, testing, writing, and maintenance of this website. They allow us to keep our content free for all readers.
Commissions Do Not Influence Our Reviews or Rankings
Our editorial integrity is not for sale. The commissions we receive do not influence:
- Our casino reviews, ratings, or scores;
- The order in which casinos, pokies sites, or venues are ranked;
- The opinions, criticisms, or recommendations expressed by our reviewers;
- Which operators we choose to feature or exclude.
Our reviews are based on independent research, hands-on testing, and objective criteria such as game selection, licensing, security, payment methods, customer support, and player experience. If a casino performs poorly against these criteria, we say so — regardless of any commercial relationship.
How to Identify Affiliate and Sponsored Links
We believe you should always know when a link may earn us a commission. You can identify affiliate and sponsored content on our site in the following ways:
- Links to casino or gaming operators are typically presented as buttons, banners, or "Play Now" / "Visit Site" style calls to action;
- Sponsored placements or promotional content are labelled with terms such as "Sponsored", "Advertisement", or "Partner Offer";
- Affiliate links use rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow" attributes in their underlying code where appropriate.
As a general rule, you should assume that any outbound link to a casino, pokies site, or gaming operator on this website is an affiliate link.
Australian Compliance Statement
Theresistanceband.com.au is committed to complying with applicable Australian laws and industry standards, including:
- The Australian Consumer Law (ACL), as enforced by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), which requires that advertising and commercial relationships be clearly disclosed and not misleading or deceptive;
- Relevant provisions of the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 (Cth);
- Guidance from the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) regarding online gambling content and advertising.
We only promote operators that we believe hold appropriate licensing for the markets in which they operate. Please note that it is illegal for operators to offer certain interactive gambling services to Australian residents unless they hold the required Australian licence. Availability of any operator mentioned on this site does not constitute legal advice, and the legal status of online gambling services in Australia may change.
